Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins and outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs.

Responsible to work on a range of engineering projects and reporting to the senior engineer and assisting with the design, development, and evaluation of processes and projects. Responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the Senior Engineer, safely operating equipment, and working alongside other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation stages of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and carrying out all tasks given by the Senior Engineer.
  • Fulfill tasks set out by the manager or senior engineer.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes.
  • Providing assistance to different staff or engineering teams.
  • Preparing related documents for the relevant department and role.
  • Filling and printing related materials and office documents.
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials.
  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents as needed.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the relevant manager.

 

Qualification:

Education:

  • Students who are nearing completion of their studies or graduated and finished their studies within the last 6 months from engineering or any relevant degree with having passion in an engineering discipline and demonstrate strong logical and critical thinking skills.

Professional Experience:

  • Not Required.

Other experiences and skills (e.g. language, IT skills, social and personal skills, etc.):

  • Good computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook).
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, Dari or Pashto.
  • Willingness to learn about Office and project activities.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
  • Willing and interested to work with multicultural environments and people.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
