Qamar Charity foundation has distributed food packages, worth $6819,62  (517,967 AFN) to 106 families in need in different provinces of Afghanistan including Kabul, Laghman, Logar, and  Maidan Wardak. These families were living in absolute poor conditions, which were surveyed by the Qamar team. As recent reports show more than fifty percent of people live under the poverty line in Afghanistan.

Food packages were selected based on Ramadan needs of  families and these food packages included rice, flour, oil, sugar, beans, washing powder, etc. Most of these families have traveled from different villages to the city center thus Qamar Team handed them some cash so they can use it for their travel expenses and other needs.
